My name is Angie and I am a small hobby breeder.  My dogs are my personal pets and are shown affection and much attention every day.  They live in my home and enjoy outside play time in our fenced in back yard.  My dogs and puppies are well socialized, fed quality dog/puppy food, are kept in a clean environment, and see the vet whenever necessary.  Each of my dogs was carefully chosen based on numerous factors such as health, history, temperament, and beauty.  I am known for breeding Dachshund puppies that are rare in color and pattern.  Each puppy that is sold comes up to date on vaccinations, wormings, and comes with a detailed health record and a written health guarantee. Miniature Dachshund puppies also come with  ACA (American Canine Association) registration papers and usually a 3 generation pedigree.  When people come to my home to look at the puppies, they are always given the opportunity to meet the parents of the puppies.  Puppies are only sold as pets to approved buyers who understand that it is a lifelong commitment and who can guarantee that the puppies will be well cared for, kept safe (fenced yard preferred), and given proper veterinary care including spaying or neutering.  I do not sell to breeders, brokers, or pet stores. 

Each puppy leaves with a small sample of puppy food to get started.  The puppies are currently eating Diamond Naturals Small Breed Puppy food.  Puppies require a high percentage of protein and fat as they grow and Diamond Naturals Small Breed Puppy food provides tiny kibble with the nutrition essential for small puppies.  The first ingredient is chicken.  It contains no corn, wheat or soy.  It contains 32% protein and 22% fat.  This food can be found in many area stores such as Orscheln, Sutherlands, Tractor Supply, Feldmans, MFA, Petland, Menards, and other farm and feed stores..  If you are interested in changing to another food, just look for a food with a similar nutritional analysis on the package (at least 30% protein).

Benji's Babies is located in Kearney, Missouri (North of Kansas City).  Our home is next to Watkins Mill State Park.  The address will be provided prior to pick up of the puppy.   Puppies cannot be shipped and must be picked up at my home.

I only accept cash in person or via Western Union if distance is an issue.  If using Western Union for the deposit, I will need your name, address, phone number, and the MTCN# once the transaction is completed.  I will then mail a receipt for the deposit to your address.
